AAH! Addiction to Explore!! Addiction to Travel! Addiction to see new places.. an addiction I cant seem to get out of!
An ideal job for many of us : – traveling the world, understanding and adapting to new cultures, relishing different food pallets, meeting new people, reading or/and writing about your explorations and getting paid for it!!! :-)
Its absolutely the worst kinda feeling to go on an awesome trip, only to go back to work the next day. No matter how good and interesting the job profile, reality is a shock!
Looking back at ’06, I have had so many trips, and I am thankful for such a wonderful year.. I’ve covered – Trivandrum, Bekal, Cochin, Ponmudi, Munnar, Pondicherry (Auroville), another trip to Kolkata, Korigad (in Lonavla – had gone for a trek), Mahabaleshwar– and I have a feeling I am forgetting some place I have covered.. Oh! How can I forget? Pune & Mumbai.. J (& I got to talk to Big B!!)
’06 has been a lovely year filled with a lot of ‘ups’ and hardly any ‘lows’.. Thanks to my family & all my friends who have been a part of ’06..
Good Luck for a brilliant ’07 people.. Hope you get to travel and do all the things you love to do.. Happy New Year!

Those many trips in just one year? Boy oh boy, you make me jealous !
You fond of trekking? There are tons of places in the Mumbai/Pune region for that. In fact, I think those regions are the best places to trek in the entire country merely becaues of the density of the forts and other forms of fortifications and natural regions in that area. I'm from Pune and I absolutely loved trekking. I did post a few accounts of my trek(s) on my blog. Do give it a look when you get time.
I came here through Claytonia's blog and if you promise to write about the travels to all the places you mentioned in this post, I promise to be hooked onto this blog too [:-D}LOL, fair deal?

Hmm Maybe u can have a better offering as a wayfarer at Discovery's Lonely Planet :-))... Yes the Ian Wright way!
But ya that inquistivness to explore things out in this world is something people (like me!) mostly aspire to fulfilllll...Warm Wishes For New Yr To You Too.

hmmm... u know... dad said the same thing when i was going to school by cycle one day, he said" u always take the same route to go to school na, well ur sis and i would try each and every possible route, thats the way we are..." ever since ive been taking a different route to school... of course.. the fact that he said that on the last day of my school life does lessen the credibility of the sentence, but what the hell? the moral of this? ~ at 1 in the night (or is that morning??) one should go to sleep...

I know the addiction and the withdrawal's that go along with it.
